AUTHOR VISITS

At a recent author visit, a young writer asked me what the best part about being a children’s author was. My answer came quickly as I saw and felt the excitement in the room: THIS. One of the greatest joys that I have as a writer is the opportunity to connect with children as we share stories of hope and wonder. Together, we travel into the world of reading and writing and picture what our our own stories might be.
